Cincinnati is a little like Pandora's Box, but in the best possible way. People who visit the region for the first time are always surprised by the city's vibrancy: architecture, art (museums, street art), history, hospitality (hotels, restaurants, people), sports (professional teams - baseball, football, soccer - an annual ATP Tennis tournament, even ice hockey), an international airport with direct flights to Paris and London, and an impressive and impactful international business community. If we were to try to define Cincinnati in a few words, they would be "rich in diversity, energy and opportunity." The Queen City is a hidden gem for businesses - both operating and service - and this page is designed to shed light on that.
The City in a Nutshell
Hosted by Visit Cincy and Meet NKY, Ed Finn, host of Ed Finn’s America, a popular Irish travel series, explored Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, highlighting the region’s vibrant street art, rich history, culinary scene, beer and bourbon culture, and sports legacy. It's a fantastic portrait of the region we call home.

“Engaging with travel media like Ed Finn’s America puts the Cincy Region story in front of audiences across the globe,” said Julie Calvert, President and CEO of Visit Cincy. “This bolsters our image and raises Cincinnati’s profile across many audiences.”
#GlobalCincy
Well over 200 European companies have made the Cincy region their home, benefiting from our prime location, talented workforce, and affordable high quality of life. The European Investment Map provides a snapshot of these businesses, which create more than 34,000 direct jobs in sectors from aerospace and advanced manufacturing to biohealth, logistics, professional services and more.
And that's just the business side. Cincinnati is also many diverse cultures, cuisines, arts and architecture, tremendous education and innovation opportunities, and a long history! The Ed Finn video on the left tells some of these stories. The inaugural edition of Global Cincy Magazine tells more. And still more remain to be told.
Let us not forget our Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport - another of our region's quiet gems...
- Did you know that CVG’s airfares are the lowest in our region (and it's an international airport)?
- Did you know that 71% of CVG passengers reach their destination nonstop (again... it's an international airport)?
